Walt Disney World is apparently mailing a notice to all guests who currently have reservations at Disney’s Caribbean Beach resort that the main feature pool at Old Port Royale will be closed for refurbishment from Janurary 7th, 2008 until sometime in mid-September 2008. The pools in Jamaica Village and Barbados Village will add temporary “child-sized” slides during this time period. I don’t know any details of the refurbishment itself though Disney has been doing this on and off for the past few years as needed at several of their hotels, adding new themeing and zero-depth entry features.
