Halloween not begin a major holiday for us, Rebekah and I usually just head to the Resort (Walt Disney World now, Disneyland up until 2003) to see what's happening there. The hotels often have activities to keep the guests happy. Tonight is the final Mickey's Not-So-Scary Party so all the real dedicated Halloweeners were there, but for the rest, there were quite a few activities to choose from.
First up for us was a visit to the Yacht Club. Nothing to see there so we took a Friendship boat over to the Boardwalk where Disney's Boardwalk Celebration was underway. Definitely an event for the little ones (it ran until 8:30p) it featured music, dancing, crafts and characters. I didn't expect to see the big cheese himself at an event like this, but there he was. Very impressive! But the best part? Cookie making with free cookies. Rebekah did share!
Our next goal was the Monorail loop. Last year they had Jack-O-Lanterns created by Cast Members. On the way we stopped at a red light and saw a very appropriate scene ... The Tower of Terror at just the right time.
